Not everyone of my friends or relatives know about this..my dear hubby doesn't eat FISH..how did i deal with it for the past 3 years??
Because of we are working couple..there's not much of it...since only dinner that i've to cook...and i really don't go with cooking that much..because...i am restricted not to cook any kind of fish cooking in the house or my hubby will be fussing around for the whole night...and spoiled my appetite..so...i only cook chicken and beef...other than that...most of the time...we just bought at nearby restaurant...or eating out...where i can order out anything that i wanted...haha..this is become my favorites...or looked after everyday...however...eating out or TAPAU will be boring if it is too often...so...i've to cook as well and my cooking is not always do well...because i don't do cooking that much before i get married..
So, since he doesn't like fish...my best time for eating...is when we eating out...or during lunchtime at office...i have the freedom to choose the dish that i want...and also...when i am at my parent's...my mom always know what i want to eat....but..i'm still learning to cope with the situation...and i hope i have the extra strength to do it...it just that, i'm easily get tired after cooking too much of thing...and that is why i don't do cooking or in other work..i don't like to cook everyday because it tiring and i'm not satisfied as i always prepare 1 hour for cooking..so what i can cook within 1 hour???..only 2 dishes...and of course must be his dishes...and am never get the satisfaction when cooking at home....i really hope that my hubby will eat fish as i do...it's really difficult to change people mindset...he says fish HANYIR...but i think..chicken pon HANYIR as well...not to say prawns, squids...etc....

60% completed..Alhamdulillah...
Yesterday marked the finishing line of my "examinable material". However, I am not sure if after this, there will still be any other exam that i;ll be going through in my life. This time around was the very hardest in my life..Why i say so, because i didn't do much of study like i always do..Why didn't i??..It's all because my health..However, I'm glad since I did not panic during exam and still can think what I'm supposed to scribble in my answer papers...this is really surprisingly...I've never experienced this before...I tried to be optimistic as I could that the examiner will be much of generous when marking mine and a PASSED is already a big success for me..Well, that what you will do when you're least expected....Aminn...
Thinking how i went through those time, i don't think i can go through it again. It was really a big challenge for me..and this Msc really thaught me of life survival..And i'm grateful I done my degree in UTP instead of overboard..yeah..I guess I am truly Malay...can't live well at any other places...because my favorites are the malays dishes...owh...i'm drooling for it very badly now actually....
Yeah..I'm glad even though i really hate this Msc stuff because it never make me feel easy though...there's always incoming work...i never get to go for vacation outside UK because of it...i guess that make me feel worst...because i really enjoy vacation...and that's why i chose to study here...to get a little vacation away from Malaysia...(that's my secret on the reason...let only ME know why)..However, deep in my heart, there's a bit of frustration because i can't get the 'distinction' as i always dream of..i know..because my past exam didn't do that good...just average...and this time around...with the sickness i held for weeks...i just hope for a PASSED in every subject...and moreover...the exams carries 60% of total Msc...If I get A for projects...I don't think it would help me...
Inspite of that...a gift from Allah came to me...and that is why I endured all the sickness, stressed because of the greatest gift i've always wish for..and I am very pleased of it...and really THANK YOU ALLAH for granting my DOA...that is what meant by when you're least expected...I hope everything goes smoothly here...getting pregnant at people place is not the same as at my own place...in KL most probably, i can get my first scan by now..at the most prestige hospital with the very best gynae..here, i need to follow the government style of pregnancy care which is a new experience to me...but i hope, i still can deliver in KL...inshaAllah...hopefully everything goes well..
And of course, i kept thinking how's my baby doing..because i never see HER(i don't know..but i hope for a SHE)...last time...i almost dropped a tear when first i see the heartbeat..this time..a bit tougher for me to handle a cheeky toddler around who is always want me to be on his side...and a husband that is bit fussy...my study...and of course my self...i really don't like the weather here now...because it's chilly and I don't like to go to the kitchen because it is very chilly...and I am very sensitive to some odor in the kitchen..which it appears and sometimes dissappears..and unlucky me...my hubby is not a chef...he doesn't like to cook..just eat...if I'm in KL it will be much easier..since there's lots of restaurant around my area with tasty foods...that is why to calm myself...i kept thinking how the good the food i ate before...i imagining that i return to the past..."what a fool i am"...yeah...even i can find the ingredient..my cooking will never taste good since my tounge has lost its sensitivity...i've always taste plain everytime i eat...
THIS IS REALLY A BIG CHALLENGE...HOPE IT WILL GO AWAY IN A QUICK TIME...AMINNN

Metallic Taste..
I wonder when i read about metallic taste, I doubt whether it is true or not. Now, I am experiencing it and believe me, I really want to get away from it as when i eat food, it always doesn't feel right..Oh dear...I really hope my taste bud will be okay as soon as possible as i really need my calorie intake sufficiently..
I am experiencing unusual 'wind' and xtra tiredness...the wind keeps come out however either from front door or back door..ehehe...(quite embarassing though!)...As the wheather here is still cold...I really don't like to go to little girl room quite often...but i have too...and hope this will go away as time passed by...
I always feel to vomit but nothing come out...oh..i need some pickles...i looked at the pickles here, are not the same as in Malaysia...I want to go HOME!!!!...really missed my life at HOME...i tried to eat prune and apricot...but it doesn't works...why oh why, they did well before...the apricot here is not dried enough...oh??? i really want Carrefour apricots??? or Makkah apricot???...dates...where can i get "kurma Nabi" here??....dates here don't look tasty to me...i want "kurma Nabi"...small and sweet...my Arab friends will not be going home as we are going to work very hard after the exam....
I missed my HOME...my usual restaurant....satay...arghhh....September...please come earlier.....

Juggles..juggles...
It's been very hard for me to find a time to blog. My semester is almost finish but the exam will be after the easter.Thinking of that, I will not have enough time or as i cans aid, quality time for study as Aqil will also spending his time at home during the easter and my exam starts right after the easter holiday. Need to find someone to take care of Aqil since his nursery will be having away day on our first paper.Hopefully there will be Malaysian families which will not be going anywhere since the school will be closed as well during that period.
Being a mom cum wife cum student, yeah quite challenging and sometimes i almost giving up because i could not tolerate the pressure i'm having right now. On the other hand, thinking of the hard ways I went to through to get the financial support and to get here, I motivate myself to be more determined to achieve my goal that is to complete my study. Even my result will not be as good as my undergrad, I feel that, it is worth it than nothing. At least, i didn't fail any subject so far if considering my condition as compared to other students. But, it is never my excuses of neglecting my studies.I've tried on my very own best, with all the effort i have to get the best result i could. Well, only me know how i'm struggling to manage the family and studies and of course, when married, you will also having upside down quite sometimes and have no one to tell the stories behind it.
There were quite sometimes I was really in stress which I could not described here and it refreshed my memory of my past and it made me cry non-stop. I am the one whom when started crying, it's really hard to stop me.I feel sad when thinking of my good time while study which i did not appreciate that much.I realised that I have wasted lots of time during my undergrad which i forgot to appreciate my social life to the fullest. Ended up, I think, I don't have really such a best friend which will always with me, whom is a part of me. I have always search for this kind of friend and it is really hard to catch one since everyone has their own bestfriend which i don't want to steal from. That would be my very last wish list as i can understand how it is really hard to find a dearest friend in the world and once you meet her...you will never let her down/go. But, I do have few good friends which i fully appreciate their kindness to me, and i regard them as my best friends no matter how they regard me.
Aqil and toby--look what's written on his tee...

Back to my family life, we have now realised that we want more people in our family...hehehe...and am trying to bring one..hopefully it will work well, if not..means, belum rezeki and have to work hard for next year financial plan..ceyy..Aqil is now a grown up todd, very helpful but sometimes very cranky.I had to stop him from breastfeeding session forever since he's already grown up.I feel relief even though it is a paksa-rela kind of approach. It has been 4 days i think, never once he asked for it and in fact, when ever i offered him, he will say..."x cedap..kerahh..."...i don't know why "kerahh" means so many things to him...hahah..he is really funny...and i really love him so much though he is sometimes cry out loud to the maximum volume he has....
Big fan of Thomas..

Update
It has been a long time since the last time I posted a news in this blog. My schedule was really tight and only this week has some days off but still need to go for tutorials in the late afternoon and evenings. I actually wanted to complete the tag but still not int he mood to do it.
Aqil with toby the teddy - mascott nursery...

Last two weeks, we just had a guest from Malaysia. A family of 6 and it came to be my former lecturer back in my undergrad studies. But, they did not stay long as fortunately they've found a nice, cozy apartment int own to stay for 6 month. My lecturer is doing attachment with the Edinburgh Unversity for his PhD with my previous university. It was good to have guests in the house but unfortunately, my family was very hard to be in the house during the day as we all need to go for lectures and Aqil need to go for his nursery (we've paid full month for it anyway..don't waste any pounds for that though!). My lecturer's wife is a very good cook, her dishes tasted like my mom..but of course, i would embarrassed to eat more than i could when the guest is cooking. Then, we helped them to move in into their new apartment and Aqil was helping too. Really get excited in exploring their new home. That night, Aqil slept a bit late than usual....Oh, I did not snap any pix with the guests though..
Airbed Aqil...

In preparing for the guest, we bought an airbed and I insisted to have one for Aqil to for it has THOMAS printed on it. So we bought one with the hope Aqil will move slowly to sleep all by himself..However, it is hopeless as he still want to sleep with me and just toying the readybed instead..Perhaps, some other of my children will make it to full use..hopefully..And instead, he made the box as his sleeping shed...and pretend as he was asleep...Funny little Aqil...
On the day our guests arrived, there was ice rain..due to low temperature..the rain is like ice stone..and early in the next morning...the snow poured the whole city..and instead..the whole UK mainland i believe...the night before..the sky was so bright like a big spotlight highlighted the sky but i could locate where the light came from..and i noticed, everytime the sky brightened during the night, the next day, the snow will pouring down...and that was the thickest snow UK ever had. The snow did not stop pouring until late afternoon and causing traffic jam everywhere in every city in the UK..I tried to get some pic of Aqil on that but he refused...hence, that not much pic of Aqil and me..and fortunately, the snow comes again...and I didn't want to miss this second best opportunity to snap some pic with Aqil in front of his nursery....we actually cautious to go out and play in the snow as we might be caught with flu and fever again. Anyway, it was not anything with the snow I think as the weather was really cold and you were like smoke when u breathe out or speak...
Out of the box...

Aqil was getting friendlier and know how to bring himself in the crowd of people. I am really happy for this as I don't have to stick with him and can really relaxing myself without him on my lap. However, still need to put on eye on him as he would go to anyone who friendly to him though..And there was a funny but I would rather feel embarrassed as when we were at the sports shop, he was dancing like crazy with the music played in the shop...and didn't want to stop and had to bribe him with the thomas shirt and denim set which cost pounds!!!
And there was one funny thing Aqil does....
Papa: Say "Dough"
Aqil: "Dough"
Papa: "Nut"
Aqil: "Nut"
Papa: "Doughnut"
Aqil: "NONUT" ....
In front of nursery...
